Mabel their dog is super sweet, but she does have free roam to visit the site. Remember this IS a natural hot spring sulphuric smell. Perhaps it was a little stagnant, as it was a pretty powerful, unpleasant odor! BUT after running it, by day 2 it had settled to a much more bearable scent. The sulfur smell night one was revolting! We think maybe we were the first guests for a few days.

The directions after that were clear and easy to follow. It took some debugging but we finally got in. Somehow just pressing one button seemed to open the electric gate, but this was made even more confusing because there were two four digit codes, so entering those codes would tell the gate to open, close, open, close, leaving us at a motionless gate. We received very specific directions which was great, however when we got to the gate, the two different codes we received were both not the way to get in. I don’t believe the sulfur would be a showstopper for everyone, but I would like to see it on the description rather than needing to dig into the reviews.Īlso, access was confusing.
